On-Set Coaching
Real-time, in-person feedback on your actual shoot day.
Sometimes the best way to nail a shoot is having someone right there with you, in the room, guiding you between takes.
On-Set Coaching means I come to you on the day of filming and give you live feedback as you go, on your energy, delivery, pacing and presence, so every take gets a little stronger than the last.
This is ideal for content days, brand shoots, interviews or presentations where you want expert support in the moment, not just a coaching session beforehand. Together, we'll work through your material live, adjusting in real time so you walk away with footage you're genuinely proud of, and the confidence to do it again without me next time.
On-Set Coaching is great if you want to:
-
Get expert, real-time feedback during an actual shoot
-
Refine your delivery and energy between takes
-
Feel supported through a high-pressure filming day
-
Walk away with stronger footage and more confidence for next time

What You'll Get
What Happens in an On-Set Coaching Session
On-set coaching is hands-on, real-time, and built entirely around your shoot.
I come to you on the day of filming and work alongside you between takes, giving live feedback exactly when it's useful, not after the fact.
Depending on your shoot, we may work on:
-
adjusting energy and delivery take by take
-
managing nerves in the moment, on a real set with real pressure
-
refining pacing, tone and body language as you go
-
troubleshooting anything that isn't landing, before you move to the next take
-
keeping you calm, focused and confident through a full day of filming
There's no rehearsing in isolation and hoping it translates. You get direct, practical guidance while the cameras are actually rolling.
How You’ll Feel After Coaching
Outcomes
Clients often finish an on-set coaching day feeling:
-
genuinely confident in the footage they've captured
-
more in control of their delivery under real filming pressure
-
clearer on what's working and what to adjust, in real time
-
less anxious about the next shoot, because they've done it with support
-
ready to film solo next time, with the skills to self-correct
This isn't about me directing every take. It's about giving you the confidence to trust your own delivery, with an expert right there if you need it.
Getting started is simple
How It Works
1. Enquire About Your Shoot
Send through the details of your shoot day and I'll confirm on-set coaching is the right fit.
2. Confirm the Details
We'll lock in the date, location and how many hours you need me there for, a half-day ( up4 hours) or full day (up to 8 hours).
3. Real-Time Support On the Day
I'm on set with you, giving live feedback between takes so every recording gets a little stronger. You walk away with footage you're proud of, and the confidence to do it again without me.

Not at all. Many clients come to coaching feeling nervous or unsure, that’s exactly what these sessions are designed to help with.
Not at all. On-set coaching works as its own standalone service, or as an add-on if we've already worked together in 1:1 coaching.
Absolutely. Sessions can be tailored to upcoming videos, interviews, or any on-camera content you’re working on.
In-person coaching happens ahead of your shoot, in a relaxed practice setting. On-set coaching happens on the day itself, with me right there
giving live feedback between takes as you film.
It’s a blend of both. We focus on practical on-camera skills while also building the mindset and confidence you need to feel calm and prepared.
That's completely fine. I'm used to working alongside directors, videographers and production teams, and I fit feedback smoothly into the flow of the day
without slowing things down.
You’re not alone. Coaching is gentle, supportive, and designed to help you build confidence at your own pace — without pressure or judgment.

What Our Clients Say!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Josie at Confident on Camera, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. The coaching sessions were insightful and tailored specifically to me. Josie is not only knowledgeable but also made the entire process enjoyable and engaging. What sets Josie apart is her experience. She’s been there, done that, when it comes to being on both sides of the camera. I love her personalised approach. She took the time to understand my unique challenges and crafted a program that addressed them.
James Hawkins, Mortgage Broker
Confident on Camera has been a transformative experience for our team, Josie not only taught us how to present ourselves confidently in front of the camera but also provided invaluable insights into the art of editing. The techniques we learned have empowered us to create compelling content that truly reflects our brand's voice and professionalism.
Holly Burns, HCC Carpentry
My colleagues and I participated in ‘Confident on Camera’ training to help us in our advocacy work. Josie was able to convey a wealth of information to us in a manageable workshop time and in a way that was engaging and comprehensive for us – which is remarkable as we have no prior experience in this field. Thank you so much Josie for so for running a workshop that was comfortable, engaging, relaxed and so informative.
